Paula is responsible for Jupiter’s unit trust operations and client accounting. After qualifying as a chartered accountant, Paula worked in Ernst & Young’s Corporate Advisory Group before joining Apax Partners. Since 1991 she held a variety of roles in asset management before joining Jupiter in 1997 to work on the insourcing of the unit trust operations from a third party provider. Paula is a member of the Investment Management Association’s Funds Operations and Education Committees.
Mike has worked in financial services since 1978 and progressed through the industry, holding a senior role at Robert Flemings prior to setting up FS3 in 1999. Mike is both a Certified Financial Planner (Institute of Financial Planning) and a Chartered Financial Planner (Personal Finance Society). FS3 has developed into an award-winning fee-based employee benefit and wealth management practice, winning New Model Adviser of the Year (South East Region) in both 2006 and 2007, and Bankhall Member of the Year 2006.
FSSC Chairman Suart Bernau said:
“Employers have always been pivotal to the work of the Skills Council, but are now taking centre stage in national skills provision across all sectors, following Lord Leitch’s Review of Skills last year and the Government’s response, “World Class Skills: Implementing the Leitch Review of Skills in England, published this month. I am delighted that, with the appointment of Mike and Paula, the FSSC is continuing its commitment to having a wide range of employers represented on the board.”
Current Board members David Milner and Jane Petkovic reached the end of their terms as Board members and attended their last Board meeting this month.
