History

FP Advance was founded by Brett Davidson.

Prior to departing Australia, Brett was a partner in the boutique financial planning firm Profile Financial Services which continues to operate today. Profile was taken from a commission based insurance and pensions business, and transformed over a period of several years into a leading example of the modern fee based advisory practice.

Brett's transition process saw:

  • Client numbers drop from over 3000 to 250
  • Average revenue per client increase from less than $100 to over $4,000 (per client per annum)
  • Recurring fee based income for the practice increase from $250,000 to over $1,000,000 per annum
  • 'A' class clients paying between $15,000 - $40,000 per annum for advice
  • A series of successful joint ventures with accountants
  • Development of Profile’s unique business system, “The Profile Partnering System”
